Topps Digital (2016)

Topps Digital is a division of The Topps Company that focuses on creating digital products and apps. One of their most popular offerings is Topps KICK, a real-time football trading card app that allows players to earn points and rewards as they collect and trade thousands of rare digital cards. This app is particularly popular among fans of the Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and Major League Soccer.

As a contract photographer for Topps, I had the opportunity to photograph the 2016 Major League Soccer season in Dallas. I was tasked with capturing intimate shots of players that you wouldn't normally see in mainstream media outlets like USA Today or Getty. In total, I shot over 10,000 photos that were used in multiple digital trading card sets on the Topps KICK app, which are traded between millions of users. My final project with Topps was an entire card set titled "On The Sidelines" that was based on my photography and was well-received by both fans and upper management.
